The Academy

When the council advises Lord Nathaniel Rutherford, the wealthy Earl of Shallowbrook, to find a suitable wife, he reluctantly agrees. The Academy, with its stellar reputation, is the most obvious place to start his journey.

However, when he enters their prestigious halls, he stumbles across the head housekeeper, Amelia. Lord Rutherford desires her, but the townspeople would never accept the plus-size Amelia to preside over them, and her job as a maid doesn't make matters any easier.

When their passions overcome them, will Lord Rutherford decide to shirk the established traditions of society and convince Amelia to join his Court, or will traditions and class expectations and their own self-doubt keep them apart?
