Astrid Direvein stopped caring about family a long time ago. She was always the black sheep, the odd one out, the 'pariah'. Unfortunately, she stopped taking care of it afterward, vanishing into thin air. In the present, telepaths ruled the planet from behind a wall of enthroned muscle, known as Monohues. No one could stand against them... until the moment three random witches from the south did. Now, Astrid was on a suicide mission to appease those very witches, or sacrifice the only thing she had ever loved to their wrath. All she had to do was find a demon on a ship. How hard could it be?
