I am a scientist at heart, always curious about how the world works and about better understanding other people. When my kids were born, and I observed them up close for hours every day, I began to remember the brightness of the world as a child sees it, and I longed to find it again. I started writing stories for them, and I am now making the first of those stories into a real book they can hold in their hands.
How did I get here?
I worked as a research scientist in neuroscience and psychology for many years, and then one fine day I decided to take my life in a completely different direction. I've been writing in various forms for the last five years, and I think I might finally have found what I want to be when I grow up.
