I was raised by my grandparents, a couple very much of the Mid-Century, in Brooklyn, New York. 

My grandfather shared his love of comic books with me, but these were not Marvel or DC, they were crime comics, detective stories, and tales of espionage and criminals! I desperately wanted to be a detective when I grew up, but somehow I ended up as a designer living in England! 

I write when I feel homesick, and in a particularly melancholic moment I decided to write Crooks Never Win! I already had the stories tucked away on a thumb drive, but my very supportive colleagues convinced me to go ahead and publish my anthology of stories.

This is my first book, and I have a few in progress. I hope you enjoy at least one of the stories, if you enjoy The Twilight Zone and Hitchcock then I think you just might!
